    AirMesh Upper

    The upper of the Wave Daichi 2 is made from a breathable AirMesh which offers a superbly stable and comfortable fit around the foot and allows cool air to flow into the shoe at the same time as allowing warm air to be released, keeping the inside of the shoe as cool, dry and comfortable as possible.

    A DynamotionFit has been used to construct the upper which works with your foot as it moves to allow for a safe and effective roll through the natural gait cycle. A Premium Removable Insock has been added inside the shoe to offer extra underfoot cushioning and comfort, ideal for longer runs.

    AP+ Midsole

    A lightweight midsole known as AP+ has been chosen to construct the midsole of the Daichi 2 as it offers amazing energy return and long-lasting cushioning, to keep you comfortable all run long.

    XTARide Outsole

    XTARide has been used along the outsole, making it specific for trail use with its deep lugs and grooves to help you tackle the various trail you may be faced with.

    About Mizuno

    Mizuno was founded in 1906 as Mizuno Brothers Ltd by Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizo, in Osaka. The shop sold western sundries, including baseballs, and then in 1907 began to sell order-made athletic wear. In 1910 the shop moved to Umeda Shinmichi and its name was changed to Mizuno Shop. In 1913 the firm began to manufacture baseballs and gloves. In 1933 Mizuno presented Star Line, the first Japanese made golf clubs. By 1935 its golf club showroom was the world's largest.

    In 1941 the company name was changed to Mizuno Co., Ltd, and has remained the same since. The first American factory was established in Los Angeles, under the denomination American Mizuno in 1961.

    Today, Mizuno is a global corporation which makes a wide variety of sports equipment and sportswear, for golf, tennis, baseball, volleyball, football, running, rugby, skiing, cycling, judo, table tennis, badminton, boxing and athletics.
